Elementary School – Early Years
Elementary School – Early Years, comprising classes from the 1st to the 5th year, children of this age group are experiencing a process of important changes in their development that affects their personal relationships, with others and with the world.
In this way, Colégio Dimensão seeks to articulate the experiences of early childhood education with the progressive systematization of the contents of elementary education, as provided for in the guiding documents. All of our work is based on respect for the child, as a free, thinking and capable individual, helping their process of appropriating the content historically constructed by society and developing their skills and competencies within their specificities and social life in an appropriate, safe and welcoming environment.
Colégio Dimensão adopts the didactic material of the “Objetivo” Teaching System, which, from various activities, seeks the physical, intellectual and emotional development of students.
Given the importance of the school in outlining the students’ life project, as subjects with stories and knowledge built on interactions with other people, Colégio Dimensão through the “Escola da Inteligência” Program, designed by Dr. Augusto Cury, implements a culture for the development of emotional intelligence, psychosocial health and the building of healthy relationships within the school community.
One of the differentials of Colégio Dimensão is the possibility of teaching the English language in a natural, contextualized and meaningful way through classes taught in English daily, through the gradual implementation of the EDUCATE BY RICHMOND bilingual program, which in 2021 will also contemplate our 4th year.
Our Qualified Faculty is responsible for the support and guidance to students, through the harmonious development of all their potential in line with educational objectives. In addition, we have an Institutional Psychologist, for preventive support, guidance and referral to other professionals, when necessary.

Our Projects
• Solidary Seal Campaign: this project aims to collect 2-liter “Pets” bottles filled with aluminum seals, for every 140 filled bottles we can exchange for a wheelchair in partnership with “CCR SPVIAS”. Sensitizing our students to empathy, solidarity actions, as well as the idea of environmental and social sustainability for the future of the Planet. So far, we have managed to collect 4 wheelchairs that have been donated.
• Planting good: in partnership with the school community, we collect plant seedlings so that students can follow the process of handling, cultivating and caring for these beings, which are so fundamental for the consolidation and maintenance of our lives. Searching, from this experience, a transversal teaching, important not only for the school formation, but for the citizen formation of our students, which will unfold in different ways.
• Hunger for books: It is important to awaken and stimulate a taste for reading in our students of the most diverse genres and to promote care and respect with physical material (books, magazines, comic books, refrigerator-place where books can be exchanged) that will lead to a natural development in speech, writing and improvement in the interpretation of texts.
